offcourse it all depends on aplication and design and you may be rite but i still tend to think water and air is as good -if not better- than fuel and air afterburning / augmentation. pulse jets waiste a lotta heat and water expands 60? times (more than most fuels) when braught to steam i was readin...

just saw it on television and calculated the mediteranea is at mach 10 than only 6 minutes away beating the tgv by a long way. it would be a nice idea visiting monte carlo, have coffee at the harbour and be back here (1200 km) within an hour...

this vulcan i saw recently on discovery channal in privat restauration for museum purpose.
i too remember the vulcan victor and valiant, than i met in nebraska sac cowboys riding bullhorn steered vehicles, saw peter sellers in doctor strangelove but luckely we survived :)

on only a theaspoon model airplane doped methanol i had several jars running instantly last week, sound frequency was in between the fast and low rumbles i hear here. keep trowing all the advice movies and sounds in please!

gee too late now, just went for real natural dunlop rubber matras as beeing the best. rubber is heavy though and while tempur isnt cheap eighter i read its used by NASA giving a "feeling of weightlessness" http://www.tempur.co.uk/page2732.asp
