Re: Explosion?
Have you not read the first item in the FAQ's? If not why don't you believe them? Inquiring minds would like to know Alright, this question is mainly for EXPERIENCED "Pulse-jetters" here. •What are the chances of while running your pulse-jet, it "back-fires" and the 1lb, 10lb, or 20lb bottle/tank go...

Looks like a lot of fun. I'm curious about the plumbing after the valves. If the valves on each tank are smaller bore than the piping chamber and nozzle after them then even when fully open the chamber isn't doing anything. Have you considered an individual expansion cone after each valve thus reduc...

Re: Steam Engine
Now that's an interesting mixer and probably has good applications for fluids with low viscosities. Nice to see they dropped the over 100% efficiency. I wonder just how long the rotor lasts, I know they say forever I just wonder as all the stuff I've read to says cavitation knocks 7 bells out of imp...

Nope. A heat pump transfers energy i.e. something gets hot and at the same time something gets COLD. This idiot invention relies of smoke and mirrors to fudge the basic point that if you churn water it gets hot. To test properly you need to do a calorimetry test plus have a good understanding of pow...

Re: Steam Generator
Opps!! should have pointed out one more flaw. Electricity such as a kettle element used to boil water is in fact 100% efficient because this is only energy transfer and the delivery device (the element) is inside the water. There are no losses in the transfer as the electricity doesn't leak anywhere...

Re Steam Rockets. Go the the rocket section of this site, read the sticky, buy the book. Re nozzle expansion etc This is often irrelevant as the nicely shaped designed nozzle is after the control valve so the restriction through the valve makes anything tacked on after just plumbing. Valves the work...

Indeed, a 20-horsepower electric motor is an energy source, but later tests and more sophisticated equipment showed that the power out -- in the form of steam -- was greater than the power in from the electric outlet source -- an engineering impossibility, but a fact nonetheless! This is complete un...

Grrr! Taking a deep breath and counting to 10 for the what seems like 4000th time. Please READ the sticky at the top of this section of the forum. I'm not looking for plans... I'm just asking if anyone could give a brief explanation as to the function of each component. More specifically the diffus...

Adam are you saying when you inverted a propane tank to feed liquid that it froze (iced up) faster than pulling the same amount off as vapor? If so there was something wrong, maybe a syphon tube pulling gas when inverted? Liquid feeding from an inverted tank takes massively less heat as the evaporat...
