Here is the modified cad design. Is there any particular reason for reducing the rectifier length.

Re: My new Engine

"divergent cone" are you referring it to first or second cone in exhaust pipe. This is the first time iam designing these type of engines so i need some experience in developing it. Are you saying me to reduce the length.

Re: PyroJoes Recipe for Beginners

Ganuganu, is this idea that the velocity of the exhaust gas is faster than the intake gas true? Also your animation explains no aerodynamic "valving" as PyroJoe was pointing out. Thankyou PyroJoe it is very easy to understand, I was thinking of using a concept to create a vortex to increase valving...

Re: M40 Chinese - Valveless Pulse Jet - HELP

please say me the following details, which one of the type you have designed your engine intakes(refer image). if you have designed the intake a direct cone without straight pipe it will be pain to start the engine, if you can try to modify it with a straight pipe and cone. Try to start the engine b...

Re: thrust stand

need to measure pulsejet engine thrust. I made several thrust tests horizontal and vertical but iam not satisfied with it, so i want to make a stand which is well and accurate to certain point.

Re: My new Engine

Thank you joe and luc, each and every engine gave me an experience in knowing about the behaviour of valveless pulsejets. And iam sure one day everyone knows that valveless pulsejets are efficient if build with certain procedure. Interested to know more about these engines and also to know about the...

Re: My new Engine

thank you metiz, today i contacted my thermal engineering professor to know about the gas velocity at inlet. He gave me this formula To = T + c^2/2*Cp. i took Cp value as 1005 and T value as 300k at inlet(initial temp) but i dont know To value ? any idea..

Re: My new Engine

I saw a book written by bruce simpson about pulsejet engines, it says that 12 to 13kg of air is used for 1kg of fuel in pulsejet engines does it mean that a/f ratio is 12.
