"divergent cone" are you referring it to first or second cone in exhaust pipe. This is the first time iam designing these type of engines so i need some experience in developing it. Are you saying me to reduce the length.

need to measure pulsejet engine thrust. I made several thrust tests horizontal and vertical but iam not satisfied with it, so i want to make a stand which is well and accurate to certain point.

thank you metiz, today i contacted my thermal engineering professor to know about the gas velocity at inlet. He gave me this formula To = T + c^2/2*Cp. i took Cp value as 1005 and T value as 300k at inlet(initial temp) but i dont know To value ? any idea..
