re: Valveless Pulsejet Database

Hi Eric, I'd be happy to build the spreadsheet. I would imagine that a Senior Member such as yourself would have a lot of "non-classified" data you could share as a result of building and testing over 100 engines. I think alot of people would really appreciate that. I'm sure there are other Senior M...

re: Non-circular x-sect Valveless P-J's

Hey, thanks Simon! I found the "square thrust rectifier" thread. I really appreciate it! Dave *** Thanks, Mark, very interesting pics. I remember reading about the "Valveless detonational" P-J years ago, but I never heard if it was actually built or worked. Somewhere I have some tech docs on the Mar...

Valveless Pulsejet Database

One thing that I think would be really nice to see on this forum is a Valveless Pulsejet Database for engines built by members of this community as well as known 'historical' valveless designs. This database could contain, at a minimum, [1] Engine name / designation, [2] Builder / Designer, [3] Max....

Non-circular x-sect Valveless P-J's

Have any members of this forum done any experimenting with non-circular cross-section valveless pulsejets? I am aware of Mike Everman's Kazoo series, made from flattened pipe sections, which was done, I think, mainly as a manufacturing expedient. Can any forum members share any other instances of ex...

re: Concentric Inlet valveless

Hey M. I'd be interested in giving it a try. The one thing I like about this little engine is that the inlet is so easy to make. Also, the combustion chamber receives its' charge in a uniform, concentric manner, as opposed to a narrow tubular inlet. One other nice thing is that the inlet is easily a...

Concentric Inlet valveless

This is a concentric inlet valveless I made several years ago just to see if it would work. It was a quick 'n dirty throw together so it's pretty ugly. It runs, but very weakly and I've never measured the thrust or fuel consumption. Just a curiosity really...

re: Gas (Tesla) Turbine started

Nick, Before you go too far, you might want to do a bit of literature search on the internet first. There was a guy who, a few years back (I don't remember his name or the reference, or I'd give it to you) did exactly what you're trying to do. It didn't work because the efficiency of a 'Tesla Turbin...

Can anyone tell me the patent number for Elman B. Myers engine (patented 1946)?

Much thanks in advance!
