Re: Message From Michael Stram
Wow. That's such a ******* shame to the pulsejet community. So, what now, we can't develop pulsejets based on a certain design? Wow, the patent is so vast it's like patenting a car as a whole... Better shut down the site now if such things keep popping up like this. Oh, and yeah, as for the Troll Wa...

As for the first picture, it looks to me like a weird Chinese type valveless.jmir wrote:Friends are needing larger information of UAV that use valveless pulsejets as propulsion system.
I have two photos and it would like larger information.
Thank you very much

Very nice indeed! Is that the pic of a jet fighter in the office?

Re: Why Not a Super-Augmented Pulsejet?
Hmm... water works well in a turbojet to cool the combustion chamber, if I'm not mistaken, but I don't think so in a pulsejet. In theory, it'd lower the noise but the power too.yipster wrote:and how about augmenting with water instead of fuel...

My forums got hacked. Generation 21 worm. I was not responsible for updating them, as I work on the templates and admin, but still I'm damn frustrated I didn't check for newer versions.

Re: Valveless for R/C Flying?
Well, the FWE for the moment has a low T/W ratio, so does the Elektra. I'd suggest an Escopette or the Escopeta version, those seem to be the most appropriate ones.

Re: Valveless thrust comparison
Hmmmmmm, interesting ideas. I could try the augmentor on the tailpipe but I don't think it will make any meaningfull diference in thrust. If the tailpipe gasses were hotter then the gasses exiting the intake then some more thrust may be produced, However judging by the lack of tailpipe heating this...

Re: Valveless thrust comparison
Hey Steve,
Now, it'd be nice if you could try something : 2 upscaled FWE. I'd like to see if you get a linear relation, or if it's an engine that would have more potential if built bigger (T/W ratio-wise).
Oh, and yeah, it's been a while I haven't posted here hehe! Good to see pulsejets still live.

Before I left england for good I did a tour of aircraft museams, I looked around a vulcan and you have to do that to appriciate how big they are. The bomb bay is ucking huge! its the lenght of a a truck and trailer! look up the the missile it was built to take, i think it was blue streak or maybe b...

Re: The largest possible
If you think valveless and E-P, my views are that it's almost unlimited, as you can have a pulsejet working with/for an other pulsejet with/for... You see me coming. But then do you consider it's a single pulsejet? There is the question... As for a 4ft Dynajet, you'd need titanium reeds or something...

Re: What pulsejet should i build?
Another thing witch i don't now if it's true is that: Shouldn't larger amounts of gas make the engine run cooler and on lower frequency? Maybe i got it wrong. If anyone has any thoughts of this, please share, im very new on this and i'm sorry if im asking stupid questions and making weird assumptio...
