Re: Lockwood-H pulsejet with variations will it work?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S57D4J8ResU i've presented it at my school (it was for a school project) so i was able to run it for a longer time, it ran pretty good till my tank froze over and it flamed out. Cool! That said, I would me much happier if you'd been wearing ear defenders. A pair of d...

That's extremely cool, Paulo.
I'm sure we'd all be interested in more details. Have you instrumented your combustor?

Re: Dyna-Jet story
Aaaargh! I would strongly suggest finding someone local who has some Linux experience, and getting them to image the old computer's hard disk and your usb key, in read only mode, using ddrescue *before* letting anyone else play with them. In fact, don't ever let anyone play with the original media u...

Re: 120 lbs thrust rocket engine went 3.5 miles
Yes Potassium permagnate is interesting stuff too. Potassium permagnate and glycerine ignites above 70 degrees. Potassium permagnate and sugar ignites if it get wet above 70 degrees. Potassium permagnate and hydrogen peroxide makes some extremely powerful rockets. The German WWII ME262 was powered ...

Re: Wanted: plans for a 10-20Lb valveless PJ
I tried searching for Hinote Criteria on the forums, but while it was mentioned repeatedly, it was never really explained. Google search (see below) gives this thread as the first hit : http://www.pulse-jets.com/phpbb3/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=894 including This is extremely interesting stuff, because i...

Re: Wanted: plans for a 10-20Lb valveless PJ
If you scale the escopette, it becomes something else, and any ideas of the original being easy to start, running consistently, producing x thrust, running at y Hz, etc, go straight out of the window. Frequency is determined by the length of the engine and the speed of sound at running temperature. ...

Re: Wanted: plans for a 10-20Lb valveless PJ
You want a straight valveless? Escopette / Escopeta http://www.pulse-jets.com/phpbb3/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=627 Thanks, I actually tried looking for some Escopette stuff, and couldn't find much about it except that it was a successful engine, not much information about thrust, efficiency or maximum op...
