thanks Al, that was not easy to find for me.
still its not that easy to convert and spec. allowances for the prop's (jet) make it even more of a dark art.
you compared a jet to a prop and it came out best right?

that flame walking from fuel to oxidiser is interesting.
the second experiment, to have the flame in the fuel, may proof the same but sure looks more dramatic

this "Performance and Optimization of a Pulsed Jet Vehicle coming soon" i will watch! the Piston-Cylinder Vortex Ring Generator seems bigger than a mentioned millimeter to me but i like the comparison with squid propulsion and wonder what PJ design they use in a liquid environment.
