That is great Vern, nice to see one on a boat. A couple of years back I put a 50lb locky on my canoe. Unfortunately I had no way to video it it though. I achieved a terrifying speed of 22mph, according to my GPS. I think she would have gone faster, but 22mph is scary enough in a canoe.

Well, with my chinese engine I have put my bare hand maybe 12" from the tailpipe opening. Not instant burn, but gets uncomfortable pretty quick.

With my FWE I have done the same and it gets alot more uncomfortable alot quicker.

That's really interesting Leo, thanks. A few references even claim that the water being under pressure increases efficiency. Very neat, that is a HUGE savings when compared to using a high-pressure compressor.

The engine runs great and is easy-starting. It's made from 22ga 304 stainless steel.

USA made tools are extremely overpriced here too, Ross! They are worth it in the long run though, if you are someone that actually uses them regulrly.

If you can find a syringe with a plunger that has a diameter of 1.12" your gauge will show the actual thrust.
