scaled x2 Dynajet
I built this PJ but it won't start,it has .008 pedal valves&atomization fuel system,I'm trying Colman fuel,it has 10,-1/2" intake holes&a 4.25 cc. Any suggestions on jetting size,air psi,etc... will be appreciated!

I've got a drawing with the dimentions of the hpx that I built.although, it was a very rudimentary way I scaled it,may not be perfect,but it works!John Hasler wrote:Where can I find drawings for the HPX?

Just letting you know,Curtis dyna fog still sells the head assy. part of redhead DJ, I purchased it w/a extra lock ring,&constructed a new combustion tube, it started instantly! Very exciting!!!

Hello,my name is Brian,I built a hpx scaled same as my fwe w/7.44" combustion chambers,that both run on 14oz lp tank,but freeze up at half a tank,im trying a homemade bladder system on methanol,but the pitch ossolates&won't sustain on just methanol,I would love to build a rc plane with s hpx valvele...

Hi,my name is Brian.I've built a fwe & hpx engines,that path will run on 14 oz propane,but tank freezes up,I've been trying methanol,but getting ossolateing thrust pulses,mabey a pressure,or injector prob.? I posted a pic of my engine in valved section under,Identify this engine,mine is slightly diff. As yours,I can run it on 14oz propane can,I have better luck w/a torch flickering into the intake&set my air@20psi&start out w/air nozzle approx. 8or10" away from intake,than slowly increase fuel&move air...

I've made potassium nitrate,stump killer/&convection surgar rockets with PVC&alum.tube w/kitty litter plugs&when I forgot my sugar in the basement,it must of picked up some moisture,them contaminated rockets wouldn't fly,but thay burned ahwile,it was not what I planed? But it was a slow rocket, lol

hello,i built a fwe&a hpx/fwe,it was fairly easy&took about 10 hours to build&have them running&shaking my house!!! :) the hpx style is very simular to the fwe,the hpx is harder to build,but really says something!!! &has way more thrust than the fwe,the fwe was a perfect start point&can be converted...
