reynst jar video
Here's a video of a reynst jar I made a while ago. I recorded it with an IR webcam hanging on a crappy laptop so framerate isn't great. Video only.

re: failed attempt at FWE build from kit
hehe well here's the thing I did use chicken wire but I didn't now how to call it (dutch). Looking back I think wrapping metal wire in a spiral around it is a better id. Then again, I could't find any chicken wire or similair mashing that was fine enough so I just went on and tried this.

re: failed attempt at FWE build from kit
I've used Bison kit you can get it at the local hardware store. Translated directly from dutch it's "Fireplace kit". Here's a link with an illustration http://www.bison.nl/NL/nl/view.do?UID=af993e0fc2c7dd2dc07c64 I'm going to build a small FWE from stainless now so I'll have the parts anyway. See if...

failed attempt at FWE build from kit
Hi Some time ago I decided to try and build a pulse-jet. Problem is, I can't weld or mold/ cut steel at all so I tried another method. In the local hardware store, I found a kit that was capable of withstanding temperatures of up to 1250 degrees C and dried up rock hard. Went and got myself some oas...

margin for inlet in FWE
in the small 2.25 pounds FWE drawing posted on this forum, it says that the horizontal part of the intake should be "hovering" approx 1 cm above the exhaust pipe. Is this very important or can it be up a bit more, say 3-5 cm so that it's slightly diagonal?
