re: Can't get 'em to run.
I think they will run just fine. Like Eric said, lockwoods casn be a real bitch to start, especially if you've never started a PJ before. You may have to shorten an flare your intakes, but I don't think any more modifications would be neccesary for a running engine. Note that I said running engine, ...

Those are nice! He does a great job. I like to make my own lures too, only mine are much smaller. I can't even imagine fishing a four-ounce jig, being a creek fisherman.

Ok, I see... The little H2O jeweler's torches use the same thing they call it "gas flux" IIRC.

I'm lost, how can you weld without flux or shielding gas???
I assume you use the same welding technique as gas and TIG???

Good grief, what is wrong with all you people?????????? I feel like I'm back in junior high school. Mike, and all the other mods, you do a fine job! Bill and Dave, why do you let such childishness bother you? Just ignore it and it will go away. I'd rather see the childishness dissapear than valuable...

re: Calculations... double checking with the pro's
It's MUCH easier to roll a cone from sheet than to make one from a tube. There is no way I would make 8 (no, make that 16) cuts in a tube and then make 8 welds. Google a program called Cone Layout 2.0.3. It's free, all you have to do is enter your dimensions. It will show you a 3d model, and a flat ...

First run's are exicting aren't they? I know on my first run, which was with a 50lb lockwood, my dad and I laughed until our stomachs and cheeks were sore. I felt like a 5-year-old on christmas morning. I've been an addict ever since.

Just follow the plans and make NO changes and it will work great! /Mike Just under $100?? What did you make ...

It was very thoughtful of the dalmation to go out and get you breakfast every morning. There is a cat that lives around here, I don't claim it, and have no idea where it came from. It is always bringing me presents, dead rats, birds, baby rabbits, etc... I wish it would stop, chicks think I'm really...
