Re: first pulse jet

Iam in the same boat as you, what to do next :) My first pj was just lashed together and ran quite well as a heater. If you want some really awesome plans for a large 40 pound pj look up Metiz's m40. There is a comprehensive .pdf on one of the last couple pages of the thread, it has all templates re...

Re: There was once a Atomjet ...

Hi there Francisco :) I recently subsribed to your channel and asked the question 'did you build these yourself?' Anyways brilliant engine, nice effort. Iam planning to build a valved dynajet in the future for an rc plane. I will learn to fly first though. Looking forward to more info and videos! Yo...

Have you designed that car/kart yet? I like the idea of those aero dynamic down hill gravity powered cars with a pulsejet or two shoe horned on.

We want more video :D

Re: new member introduction, also can i get opinion on ignition

Thats running nicely, The ball valves are great for emergency shut-offs. Maybe if the handle was very long, 12 to 18 inches it would have better control. I find multiple needle valves in parallel give reasonable results. They can be the less expensive type, just need to make sure they have the fine...

Re: Odd Metal jars

Far from everything has been tried, I say give it a go. My speculation is the water has a high enough density it would interfere with the pumping effect of the tail. Instead of the pressure from the CC driving the tail pump, it will dump the pressure out the intake. The first cycle would be good, b...

Re: Odd Metal jars

Re: new member introduction, also can i get opinion on ignition

Last night i made another larry spec stinger using 2 x M5 countersunk screws welded head to head with a .2mm gap instead of the .5mm gap (.5mm gap un tested on an engine). i setup the fuel line and stinger in an adjustable fashion and commenced start up attempts once more. so as i intended, i only s...
