re: Increase net thrust?
ok I see, just to tell you that "second model" is the same as the first one, it's just simplified. the heli is my RC one, so it wouldn't cut off my hand, just give a bruse and maybe cut me. Ok I guess I'm slowly getting the point, and it seems that it wouldn't help that much if any, except when ram ...

re: Increase net thrust?
If I had the equipment I would, but seeing I don't... is there any way to CHEAPLY make the tesla valve from common materials? the only things I have wing shaped are blades for my heli, but they aren't metal and would probably burn/melt I do still find it hard to believe that sucking (like a vaccum) ...

re: Increase net thrust?
ok I see when the air is sucked in it slams togheter its inertia pushing the jet forward nullifying the effect of the pull, so the jet just coasts on the pull stroke. Then the rest continues with out question...interesting...ok well now that I know that, I do still think that it would create a bit o...

Increase net thrust?
well I did some thinking, and just wondered about thrust on these things. I am correct that when it pushes air out it moves directly in the pointed direction, and on the "return" stroke it pulls air from all over the place making it not pull as hard as it pushed in essence making thrust instead of t...

re: pocket lockwood?
you could try using DC electrosis to seperate the water molucule into the hydrogen and oxygen. Add salt to it and pump in as much voltage as possible. If done right you should be able to achieve a bit of pressure and I'll run the engine quite fine then just adjust the voltage on the electricity and ...

re: pocket lockwood?
interesting, I'll remember that. what DO you mean by flame speed? rate of combustion, or how fast it can pump into the engine? ok, I saw someone saying that they cut a slit in the side of the fuel injector and made the engine a bit more powerful. Why don't you try using one of those basketball needl...

re: pocket lockwood?
ok, well, how would a butane canister work? ALSO according to the plans, how do you make the expansion chamber have that conical part that slopes into the barrel and the intake shaft? heh I was thinking about maybe if the propulsion is high enough (above the weight of the device) which is probably j...

re: pocket lockwood?
ok now that I'm not in a rush... I was just wondering, could you use butane to run this jet? I know they have those little cans that they use for those nail guns, which seems ideal for a Rc aplication. ok, first of all, I know this sounds stupid, though i'm not a complete idiot, I HAVE spent quite a...

re: pocket lockwood?
sorry not much time and I'm a newbie, but try using electrosis with platinum wires and a strong DC source for hydrogen. heh first post but I think if you used enough power it could run this beast, and since it's so small I think I may make one of these, heck this is even harder than my RC heli and b...
