thermal fogger

I just see that’s it has so much views nice. I like the pulsfog from that site its valveless, and the shape is much alike my selfstarter. The ignition in the inlet is something new, maybe it is preventing the big bangs while starting. That’s something to try out, also its carburated. I always wo...

thermal fogger

I would make the exhaust and inlet diameter much smaller, this will be bad for trust but great for starting. If you use the right injector it will be selfstarting. Remember the smaller the in and exhaust the easier the starting, and that’s what you need on a thermal fogger. Look at this topic for ...

GLC & Luc & Viv not vanished

They moved to this site. http://www.securenet.net/members/glc-inc/index.html I don’t understand why they don’t buy a shorter easier to remember name. I purchase a .com with hosting for 44 EUR for the first year. The CGL forum is gone to, but this seems normal to me, how many companies have a for...

fuel pressure

I did a test today to find out how the fuel pressure would behave with different throttle arm settings, and plotted the result in the graph below. It behaves almost exponential due to the needle tip angle not being stepped, so I will have to make another needle with a steeper angle at the tip and a...

As a last resort you can try a really big fuel injector, for example 1 inc to try to get more restriction of the intake.

Re: Ducted Fan and Ramjet

and the ram air would sustain the ramjet in the normal way, though of course the piston engine and duct are admittedly interfering somewhat with the flow into the diffuser. Anyway, that's the theory I was working from ... L Cottrill Larry what about placing the propeller after the diffuser and in f...

Lady Anne Boleyn Mk VII

Larry how about sticking some massive rod into the intake, to make it smaller.
It’s a relative easy way to try to get more impedance.

PDE not that much better than other engines?.

PDE not that much better potential than pulsejets?
If I understand it right Kentfield is claiming that.

Eric no pictures of your flame holder?.
How about first using a augmenter in front of the ramjet?, that would smoothen the flow and entrain more oxygen in it, but also lower speed on the intake.

Lady Guinevere

Larry are you getting any resonance trying to start Lady Guinevere?. If you get resonance, does it sound higher than expected?. Maybe you can make a recording to analyse the frequency. Than you can find out of the tail end is working as a extension or just as a augmenter. I think it will be the last...
