Re: fuelling
That could work, but the transition between the external tank and the on board fuel cell might kill the engine. Easier just to top it off from a bottle. Might be so... But if you feed the external fuel to the suction line from the fuel cell and keep the external fuel container above the fuel cell t...

Why not use a external fuel supply until your ready to run the race track?Johansson wrote: the idea is to refuel once the engine is started and running on liquid.

Re: Cone forming video as promised
Hi GRIM! Nice tutorial! Almost the same approach that I use to fabricate my cones. I usually cut my templates ~3 mm bigger than the final template size. That way I have as I feel a better guide to the final size. But that´s my own method :) I use the same principle of tooling as you use, But I also ...

Re: Homemade TIG Welder
Hi. Almost any alternator will work. It´s easier with an external regulator, but an internal regulator can be modified. What you need to do is to bypass the internal regulator, to do this unsolder the wire from the regulator cicuit and the ground from the brush holder. Then solder some wires to the ...

Re: Oil Pump
Hi.
Some use a Shurflow pump, that tolerate oil. Myself I use an Ford Escort mk 1 oilpump driven by a 24 volt lawnmover engine at 12 V.
Thinning the oil is a bad idea. Use 0W30 oil instead.
The dripping can be many tings. PM racketmotorman he is the guru wrt. Gasturbines.
