re: Thrust without reaction mass?
Well, haven't seen your post Mike, as I wrote the following. --- The comparison to a trebuchet (better think of those with wheels) was a good point. Makes for one of the easiest way understanding the principle. The trebuchet should feature a fixed weight and arm length, in which we only shorten the ...

Re: re: Valveless pulsejet to Stiga sledge
is that 07x's fuel injector pipe made from copper or steel? i dont understand what VA tubing means :/ Fricke is correct; it represents a certain class of stainless steel. For your interest: It is obvious, that I should not have written "VA steel". It turned out that it is, besides "V2A" or "V4A" a ...

Re: re: Valveless pulsejet to Stiga sledge
i printed 07x plans, but i found this too http://www.pulse-jets.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=3446 it seems to be like update, should i use it? Both ducts provide the same power level. Only the -07X-2 duct is shorter, where the -07X duct was tested more until today. I would recommend that you choose -...

Crass! Haven't I read that Kenneth was still "God" here? !)
Well, okay, I think everything I liked to express was written in the above posts already.
Thus:
A large Thank You to Kenneth!
And Best Wishes for the Future to Mike!

Very nice one, Eric!
Do you have thrust, combustor ID, and OAL measurements at hand? Would be cool. Your decision, of course.

re: thickness of stainless
Sounds alright.
Maybe it is better to use 0.8 mm thick steel for the combustion chamber and transition cone. Which means thicker material for hotter sections.

Okay, I assume you stated the tailpipe measurements in centimeters, correct? So, first thing I have to note is that you did not build exactly to spec, which could be a problem. Especially the largely oversized intake cone could cause some trouble. Anyway, without a spark plug you will have some hard...

re: School Project-- GOT QUESTIONS on -- K-PT 07X --
The injector, which I presented in the blueprints, is mostly referred to as a radial "swizzle-stick" injector . It simply consists of a pipe, which has been closed on one end, so that injection orifices could be drilled radially, most likely, near that closed end. There really is not anything specia...

The GT-PC combination sounds like a very interesting experiment! That besides earlier PC-fan combination attempts.
