The first pic looks like it was taken with thermal imaging hehe. 153 pounds LPG bottle? Isn't that big? Anyway, the fuel consumption looks good to me. Congrats! No--the engine looked pretty much like that to the naked eye. The bottle IS big--BTW you can see it in the second shot--it stands about 5 ...

The result of my observations...
Note : This is purely a "guess", there's no theory in what I've drawn. We'd all like a pulsejet to be a simple tube, where air enters by a side and thrust goes out by the other. However, it makes no sense. ......... __________________ Air in |_________________| Thrust out So, an explosion has to hap...

Re: All New WIP Photos Now On Site
OK, I managed to get the minivan working again in record time, for a mere $703.50, and just now I got the Elektra I page updated with all the remaining 'under construction' photos: http://www.cottrillcyclodyne.com/ElektraI/ElektraI.html The next time I post pictures of Elektra I here, there will be...

Re: building lockwood
To roll your cones, make yourself a simple slip-roll. BTW for the doubters, here's a shot of my (now-retired) Kentfield-designed 4-tube project. This engine successfully duplicated Kentfield's efforts by producing 45lbf in an easy-starting, good-running project. The megaphone section was formed in ...

I hope it's gonna turn out ok! Good luck! Avenger - Thanks much. We shall see what the Lord wills for me and Elektra. One important thing I need to do to that Web page is get a big warning box on there about welding galvanized / coated steel. That stuff is very nasty! I really had to be careful ton...

OK, cause, being interested by model airplanes, I tought it'd be somewhat complicated to get fuel injected by the top of the aircraft (running a fuel line to it). Do you plan to build a prototype after your Elektra pulsejets? (You come up with a lot of desings lol). Actually, one of the best fuel s...
