Re: Please put your "I am new and need help" question here.
In fact, pulsejet could not simply scaled down by a factor, but it could gonna work  A few suggestions: - Are you sure the engine is totally leak-free? - The intake must be flared. That means that the last 20-30mm of the intake tube should be angled outwards so as to make the opening wider than...

They will melt due to temperatures around 700 degree. Valves of pulsejet must made out of springsteel

Re: Who knows this pulse-jet?
Hallo mr. Wiles I read the topics where you mentioned the Aeromarine 205lbs a while ago, this engine seems for a valved pulsejet pretty efficient. Are you also including blueprints/pictures of this engine in your book, or is it only about the DynaJet history? Does the tailpipe only have one tapering...

Re: Blended bodies
No, one big intake is the best for increasing thrust, also augmenting with one intake is a lot simpler. I think I don't really understand it, but when you double up the engine ( in area of course), you could use the same intake twice, or not? This it what Pyroyoe seems to do. Because developing of o...

Re: Telescoping pulsejet?
A very important thing with a pulsejet is, that it shoulde be totally leak-free. With telescoping pipes is that pretty difficult. Besides that, I think the connection between the compononents should be permanent because of the expanding of steel. If it would be possible to build a short pulsejet as ...

Re: Lockwood powered Go Kart
If that is a polyester go-kart seat, throw it away, you don't want polyester burned into your ass :) Or put some fire proof material under it. Also it's maybe smart you only sit on the kart when the engine is pulsating. If the engine is not started, the propane which is at groud level, delivers a bi...
