Mark

Many thanks for posting this material. Just saving it off to disk and printing it gave me a better appreciation for what it took to prepare and post it.

Now comes the really fun part, reading and trying to understand it all.

Dave

PS: Do you have any more Logan style information?

Re: AUCTION ... AUCTION ... Low Price Stainless Steel

Just so we have a point of reference as to why 321 stainless is such a big deal: "GENERAL PROPERTIES Types 321 (S32100) and 347 (S34700) are stabilized stainless steels which offer as their main advantage an excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion following exposure to temperatures in the ch...

Re: AUCTION ... AUCTION ... Low Price Stainless Steel

Luc Did I read this right? 321 costs less than 316 through these suppliers??? Additionally, do these prices include delivery, or is that plus freight? Either way, it sounds like a great deal, especially in CanaBucks. Dave PS: Not being up on how dollars per pound translates into flat sheets, can you...

I thought this was another of Burt's projects, but I could not find any reference to him in a quick site review.

Re: Electronic vacuum tubes (valves)

Bruno: As Viv says, tubes, or should I say valves for those of the British / European persuasion, are making a big come back. Some purest have rediscovered their warm smooth sound and are now demanding them in high end microphone preamps, guitar amps, etc... In addition to their physical condition, ...

Mark
You may have been thinking of Mr. M’s postings.
He had also posted in the Pressure Jet section, but those disappeared along with everything else when he vaporized into the mist.

Re: A great day out ...at home!?

Great idea!

Unfortunately, NetMeeting will not work for what we have in mind as it only supports a one to one video / audio connection. Same was true for MSN Messenger last time I checked.

Other Options for live multi point video feeds?

Re: Today's tidbits

Mark I have no clue as to what this thing was made for. As you can tell, it is big! One thing that does not show is a 1" wide handle on the back that is about 7" long. With the rounded bottom (top in the picture), and the strangely suggestive shape, I can't imagine what it would have been used for. ...
