re: Rails for pulse jet mounting and thrust measurements

a swing?? don't swing move in a sort of arc? this would mean the jet would start having to pull against gravity and really throw off thrust measurements.

check out these linear motion bearings, you may have to search through it to find the cheaper ones.

Re: re: Beck-Technologies Adv Fuel Injectors Ready For Sale

Hey Nick, where in Georgia are you? I'm in Fort Oglethorpe, Ga, a small town near Chattanooga, Tn. right where I-85 meets 985. So it's northeast georgia. Very suburban. Just got my first MIG welder yesterday and today i started welding angle steel together and testing the wleds strength. I'm not su...

re: Beck-Technologies Adv Fuel Injectors Ready For Sale

yeah, thats why I thought about a thermojet. But after seeing the bent chinese, it just makes more sense flow-wise than a LH. I was going to modify the lh-55, which I'm having difficulty finding plans for, and make it's CC and tailpipe like the chinese then add an augmentor to the intake.

re: A small gas turbine with Axial Flow Compressor!

i wish I possessed the skills and tools to do that! I doesn't look like there is any "staging" of the compressor tho. Like if the first blades are closer to being flat and as it progresses the blade angles get steeper and steeper, you can get hgih pressures that way I believe. You'll probably have t...

re: Beck-Technologies Adv Fuel Injectors Ready For Sale

i've been wanting to build a lh-55 or maybe a thermojet by the end of summer break and your fuel injector is now on my list of things i want/need. What will the expected price be and for how much? I bet one for an LH-55 would cater to the largest market.

re: Electric Hybrid Turbine

yeah, the efficiency would be a big problem. you lose so much energy converting the kinetic to electric and then electric back to kinetic.

re: Oil pumps, fuel pumps and atomizer questions

as thrust increases doesn't oil pressure also? because you are applying more pressure to the exhaust turbine? My turbo is a T04E-14 and is fairly large. Should I get the high volume oil pump for the chevy sb then?

the danfoss site you gave me was good, but how, or where, can I buy those nozzles?

Oil pumps, fuel pumps and atomizer questions

For an oil pump I was going to go with one that is off of a chevy small block, but am confused as to what my input rpms should be and for what pressure. Also, what oil pressure is needed for which rpms. like at x rpm you need y oil pressure. As far as the fuel pump goes where do I get them and I'm f...
