What would the minimum pressure need to be so you wouldn't send the vapor back into the tank?

I was going to do a better job of laying this out and then posting this later but since it was brought up I would appreciate comments. I am building a pulsejet off of Eric Beck’s calculator for a 25lb of thrust. I tried to keep the valves to fit in a 3x3 square. I did this so that I could put the ...

I know of this website: http://www.freetranslation.com/ It might help break the language barrier. It was enough to make me able to pass three years of spanish. I dont know how well it works between english and russian especialy with the more technical words but it might be worth the time to look at....

First i belive the universe is endless because think- what can be outside nothing? I agree that 1/infinity is still not zero but consiter this: limit as x->infinity of 1/x = 0 If there was an intelligent planet in the universe limit as x->infinity of 2/x = 0 Does that mean the other planet isnt inte...

Look- no offence to anyone, but saying I’m a future Darwin award winner is a bit harsh. I had no intention of just throwing together a piece of crap pipe bomb. My lack of knowledge of building pressure vessels aside, I still believe it would be a decent idea. To increase efficiency, fuel injectors...

I find the simple method of mixing propane and methanol in the same tank extremely attractive. Unlike CO2 or N2, vaporizing propane in the tank would maintain a constant even pressure of about 120psi at 20 deg C. The other advantage is that it would be a way to connect a high-pressure fuel injector ...

This looks to me to only inject methanol into a full size LP tank. If you could find fittings to convert it down to a small, mostly empty, disposible LP tank, 8 fl of methanol would become the main fuel and the LP would expand to maintain its vapor pressure. Better yet- use a small can of O2 that is...

Titanium

Speaking of fun scrap materials to play with, I was just given 3- 6x6 plates of .05in titanium. I wish I could make a valve grid out of the stuff but the common sense in me tells me to avoid this stuff like the plague. I know people who weld the stuff for a living and would do it for me, but I have ...

Split pulsejet chambers

I am looking for either a patent or a design for some type of pulsejet with a split combustion chamber and some type of diaphragm between them. I figure it is a simple idea that has been thought about long before I did, but I would like to know if it ever worked as a way to increase compression. Any...

What the heck would you want to screw with that stuff for. There are better, maybe not cheaper, but plenty safer methods. May I recomend the anarchy cookbook for more cheap ideas though.

When I was in Mexico, I went by, but did not stop the bus for a glass factory. I imagined myself walking in and saying "Por favor, can you blow a Lockwood in glass?" I think I will amend this to "blow it in quartz", but regular glass could be OK, if you build in a water jacket for cooling.... Hmmmm...
