Nah theres no restriction in the fuel flow, the stainless socket with brass elbow is the injector. The other bit is a blower running through a check valve for starting air.

OK, found some graphite in the cupboard and answered my own question. Based on two tests it seems to fire just as readily as the nichrome igniters. Rossco, couldnt it be somewhat improved if one was to add small intakes/exhausts into the main intake. My thoughts - 1. It would allow air to quickly fill the chamber. 2.
