Re: Secrets of the Dead: The Reynst Pot and the Hinote Crite
Hello Larry, Thanks for another insight. Sorry if it seems Im asking self explanatory questions but....... Where is the fuel fed into this 'pot' engine?. What has to be placed at those black/white quarter circle symbols? I know they usually show centres of mass and force on aeroplanes. Thanks Ray.

Re: The simplest pulsejet ever
Bruno, et al. I read your comment in another topic about how the California's have proved u correct in your advocating gas fuel fed through the air intake. Do u think this would work in your 'simplest' valveless pj. design?. Or is it best to stick to your diagram layout?. Thanks, Ray.

Re: The simplest pulsejet ever
Bruno, Please just confirm I've understood your below instruction correctly. By 'half diameter' do you mean sawing a slit which is a quarter of the tube's circumference long?.As opposed to sawing a slit of half the circumference's length?. 'About four diameters from the plugged end, saw the tube acr...

Thanks Bruno,
If I ever make a p.j.,it will be this one, your design,so I might one day see what happens at the air intake.

Re: The simplest pulsejet ever
Bruno and others,
How would this design work if the air intake gap were facing towards the open exhaust end, as opposed to facing the closed end?.
As it stands wouldn't the ignition blasts blowing forwards partly cancel out the thrust from the exhaust end?.
Thanks, Ray.

Re: Valveless thrust comparison
Congratulations to Steve B. for his sterling work in making Larry's brilliant designs.
Does anyone know if Larry's design can be scaled up from 500g thrust to 50kg?.
Any idea how large such a P.J. would be?.
Thnaks, Ray.

Re: video data storage
Thanks for rapid replies, Mike, MK and Coffee. The webpage selling this camcorder is below. If it's a' dead' link, I'll tell u it uses MPEG4 format. I've just realized it has 'AV cables provided', which means it can be played back straight into the back of a normal tv set, doesn't it?. Or transfered...

video data storage
Dear All, (1) If a solid state internal memory of a camcorder is 64 Mb,and maker's info. claims an external memory of 512Mb will hold 3 hrs. of video recording, then will the 64Mb hold one eigth,ie. 22.5 mins.?. (2) Is it usual to be able to transfer the 64 Mb. memory of video to a computer in a publ...

For Bruno
Bruno,
Glad to read u are planning to sell pulse-jets.
If they are as attractive as your writing ability then they fly v.well
Just sad I'll have to wait for 5 yrs!.
Can't u make them sooner?.
Sorry, I expect u have v.good reasons for delaying.

Re: commercialisation
Thanks for the progress reports u three groups.
Mike E.,
Do you have any photos of your Kazoo p.j.?.
I agree with u liquid fuel is most practical for flying.
What thrust will it generate on liquid fuel?.
Thanks, Ray.

commercialisation
I recall about 3 groups represented here were trying to build engines they could sell, to 'real' customers.
How are each of them progressing?.
Anything for sale with a guarentee soon?

Re: The simplest pulsejet ever
Thanks for that simple description and drawing,Bruno. Even a total novice like me can follow it, clear as a bell. I don't understand why you warn folks like me off from building it. It seems the only design I could attempt. I have lots of empty food tins in my shed that I could use for it. What do y...

Larry,
U deserve praise for building so many experimental designs.
Very few contributors do, I'm the worst offender for that!.
Hope u can get one self sustaining soon. Good luck.Ray.
