Skip to around the 2:30 mark and listen when the engine cuts out, the quiet whistling sound as the plane cuts through the air and stunning landing.

Someone made a pulsejet out of a reed, like one of the ones I have but never got around to using, pictured next to my red Dyna-jet head here.

This fellow even created nostalgic model toy kits to go along with the pretense. Seems like something Larry C. would have liked, he was into retro stuff I recall. Definitely a surreal left field endeavor - Project Wool Over Your Eyes. The ammo box with the RAYOVAC battery and accessories hurts my he...

Re: Mike's Build Log

That looks like a nice pickle slicer. I looked for various steel/heat resistant impellors to spin up but never found anything suitable or low cost.. But the jet ski prop idea seems like something fun to try. Is that a skateboard wheel on the end of the shaft? As an aside, I bought a few sets of whee...

Here's a curious fire tornado vs fire hose. Somehow in an abstract way I imagined a jam jar jet effect without the jar, the fuel cellulose instead of methanol and a chimney feedback effect without the chimney. Although the flow is more of a steady state, the center fire vortex might have resonate pr...
