These are 6 mm borosilicate test tubes oscillating in an 8 x 6 mm quartz tube, a vertical test. Got it to run for about three minutes but only started the camera after deciding it was going to sustain. Still I have to wonder why it decided to stop after 3 minutes .

I had to anneal and then tap this lid with a 1/2 inch NPT Pratt and Whitney tap for a tri clover jar I had and it was no fun. After red heating the lid I used a cobalt drill bit and then the tap.
