Thanks,

No, but its an part of the A.R.J pulse jet dravings/plans .

Does anyone seen something similar that was produced?

Neoprene coated valve seats

I have just read a document by Bureau of Aeronatics, they coated a the valve grid/seats on a 22 inch pulsejet. They extended the valve life to 164 minutes of operating time! Surely beats 30 minutes! The valve grid vas coated with neoprene by the means of a process developed by the B. F. Goodridge co...

Re: Pulsed Outboard Motor?

Moving water is FAR more effective then moving air right, therefore I propose that if one was to put the exhaust underwater it would create a seriously powerful outboard motor. By pushing against water there will be far more pressure in the chamber, so you would need strong valves (slow), but this ...

My 35 kg trust pulsejet

Tryed too start my pulsejet too day, but i did get nothing but big flames coming out of the tailpipe and on occasions some dull bangs. I suspect the compressor i was using did not deliver enough air pressure and volume. I altso did have big problems with the spark plug, due to a missing capacitator ...

No, i dont think stain less steel inflicts the resonance too mutch since this material holds up to heat quite well. Just be avare that stainless steel can be hard to roll due to the stiffness. If you are going to build a large one, play safe and use at least 2mm thick steel plates. A pulsejet that c...

My 35 kg trust pulsejet

My 35 kg trust pulsejet is very soon ready for test start.
The only remaining things are to veld the fuel injector in place, and fabricate a high voltage source.

The first test run will be on propane, and diesel will follow.
If anyone are interested i can post pictures

heat insulation

I am wondering if it is possible to coat the inside of a pulsejet with some kind of heat reflektive material. On large pulsejets this can possebly increase power output .

It will altso make it a lot safer to operate , because the themperature of the surface will be cooler.

Re: injetcors

I dont think i need to use a pump, i will just keep the fuel tanks bottom higher than the injectors, an gravity vill do the rest. Haaken, You wish to inject fuel into an occilating column of expanding and contracting gases. Gravity alone will not provide the pressure necessary to feed the fuel unle...

Haaken, In a previous post about your design you told us that the combustion-chamber diameter will be 185mm. This is big but I don't think you need more than 1 fuel-injector if you use injected fuel. This would also be an advantage because you could make the injector a part of the valve grid and th...

Does anyone have experience using stainless steel tube "Rails" inside the combustion chamber on a pulsejet? I am planning to use it to inject liquid fuel. I suspect the tubes will get hot enough to waporise almoust any type of fuel, but im worried that they may melt due to the extreme heat. They may...
