re: K-PT 07c thrust fix -- K-PT 07X release

I may do some TSFC test of my own. I use a seed bag scale. It has a 300 pound limit and is accurate to the .01 pound. Sounds like thats what you need :)

Oh and congratulations on a very nice design.

re: Uflow assisted PJ design

Very nice indeed. Can't wait for more details and of course some good pictures of it in action. Best of luck with further testing ;)

re: Working together for the better (Injector Ideas and Test

Like I said i didn't want to offend. I have learned a lot from the stuff both eric and hinote have posted and am not denying it especially eric. I did search and found quite a lot of info regarding injectors but wanted to start a discussion to further the advancement of the technology (If you can ca...

re: What have I been doing?

Thanks! Yeah notice the hand sanded and polished engine cylinder. Its never enough power ;) 67 horsepower stock but it has power reeds, aftermarket pipe, air filter, and I ported and polished it. It's probably over 70 horsepower. I want to switch it over to methanol ;) When I finish polishing the pl...

Working together for the better (Injector Ideas and Tests)

Good day to everyone. I have many valveless design ideas to test out but am out of stainless steel so I can’t (for now). So instead I have decided to try to improve my existing jets by improving injector design and augmenting. I will also be trying various other things such as water injection. To ...

What have I been doing?

Well I have been absent from the forum for a long while now and have a lot of catch up to do! So much has happened over the summer. I have decided to share some of my other hobbies and projects I have been working on besides pulsejets. Mainly I have been working on a new age solo piano album. I just...

re: how does the valve of a valved pulse jet work?

My injector is just a piece of brake tubing that protrudes into the intake perpendicular to the flow. It comes up flush to the inside of the intake tube. It is approximately 1 inch away from the end of the flare, although I think it needs to be moved farther back because a lot of fuel is blown out o...

re: how does the valve of a valved pulse jet work?

I took my Laird Chinese out today to test my new ignition setup and had it sucking its own fuel out of a container as well. It can run on gas, diesel, and methanol. So valveless pulsejets can definitely suck their own fuel out of a container as well as valved ones, so no advantage there. mikhail jones

re: Revisiting Kentfield engines

Just had some time to check the forum and catch up on the last couple months of posts. Any update on this particular project M. and mike. Seems like lots of interesting projects coming from you M. Keep up the good work. M. - I have yet to build the revised Chinese as planned. I am determined not to ...

re: Nanosoft: New Chinese Project

Well sorry for the wait. It will be a little longer; life keeps getting in the way. I am doing last minute college apps and lots of studying for finals. I have lots of projects to work on and I will get back to pulsejets when I have time. At the moment I have my motorcycle stripped to the fame for p...

re: Nanosoft: New Chinese Project

Today I will do some more testing. I am sure that it will run with a little work. Hopefully all will go well. I post pictures later. The new design looks awesome. I will start construction probably next week. I think I am going to go buy some stainless sheet to build this new one because I am runnin...

re: Nanosoft: New Chinese Project

I have just refilled my tank but I don't think I am getting full pressure out of it because when I went to get it filled the guy messed up or something because it took forever to fill and acted like it needed to be re-purged. I have most standard sizes of brake line from 1/16, 1/8, 3/16 and 1/4. But...

re: Nanosoft: New Chinese Project

I'm back. Actually I was back yesterday but I didn't have time to post. So, lets get back to business. I am going to be making a new fuel injector assembly today. Milisavljevic how far into the intake do you suppose the injectors should be.

re: Nanosoft: New Chinese Project

I don't have much time but here is the report. It ran but not very well. The problem is the fuel injector placement. My propane tank wouldn't give enough gas to let it run and on liquid propane it was to hard to fuel it so it kept flaming out. Overaal very good results. My pictures came out blurring...
