Chemistry is not a guessing game. Simple as that. It's about precise measurments and controlled amounts of reactants. You can't begin to say what you'll get out without knowing for certain what you are putting in. Buy a cheap set of digital weighing scales off eBay or such. They have other purposes,...

Llorenç, As Simon says, many many people have had issues with ordering from Bruce, this forum shows many examples, and I'm sure I remember a few from my time when the old forum was still active. It would be better to distract yourself from that with the huge amounts of free information available her...

SO are you saying that the motor would source it's oxygen from the Nitrous within the grain? I've no idea what those compressed foam cans use for filler, though if you were designing this from scratch, I suppose you could use pretty much anything that fits the bill. The main error I can see with thi...

Oh right.... Well it's got to have something do to with the fact that the sum of any two digit number, taken away from that number can only equal a certain outcome. Allow me to try and clarify. If you actually perform the first stages, ie, think of a 2 digit number, add the digits and subtract, you ...

There's no way to open up a backup file and extract parts? I'm no expert in phpbb, yet it seems logical that all a backup should comprise of is a compressed set of data readable by the phpbb software... If worst comes to worst, we could create a temporary installation on a sub-domain of the site? Ex...

Interesting news, glad to hear it's gone from one good man to another.

Many thanks to Kenneth, as all are saying, you created possibly one of the most interesting little areas of discussion on the web. Heres hoping it keeps that way.

Good luck Mike, still here Moderating about when I can.

re: Message from the Admin

Just a note, can we get some sort of e-mail confirmation on new threads? Was thinking it might be a way to stop some of these spams we've been getting.

If you want to see what I mean, engadget runs that idea on their commenting system.
