Re: Symmetric shape, opposite exhausts?

Maybe 10 exhausts will be OK.

Symmetric shape, opposite exhausts?

Sorry for ugly sketch. Maybe lowest and highest pressure point is more compact (concentrated) in this shape and somehow it can be useful? Like more compression before ignition considering gas backflow from both directions impacting in one point. Perhaps full can be better (precise) injected. Or mayb...

Re: Valveless PJ and magnetism

I do not really know what to expect of a Pulse jet (beside noise, heat and fun :) ). Trying to figure out what I have to understand what can be done with it. Electro pulses can maybe useful for timing (not sure what :) ). (only if at the end it is worth to complicate that much).

Re: Valveless PJ and magnetism

Is there more optimism on this claim or it is some how proven fact?

I was reading true Plasma (physics) and Magneto hydrodynamics and cant understand if it really works. :?

Valveless PJ and magnetism

I was thinking, in a working PJ we have a big amount of moving gases (particles) for and backwards, right? If a ferromagnetic (considering low frequencies 200Hz, iron) material can be used for (example) a part of exhaust wall section, will we get an electromagnetic activity around (or inside) this s...

And she strikes back! Today’s lesson: don’t play with fire. :)

P.S. Very nice engine. (I do not have access to stainless steel) :(

Re: “Aerodynamic valve” for valveless pulsejet.

Thanks! Now I will have more time to build e jet without spending it in one not working valve system. :D

Re: Please put your "I am new and need help" question here.

Ok. The answer is yes, they did PJ with water injection and it raises more questions. Is there significant performance raise? What are pros and contras of water injection? Can be water injection continuous or only a short bust and engine cools down?

Re: Please put your "I am new and need help" question here.

Considering the heat production of running PG, was somebody trying to inject water in order to raise thrust? Is it applicable in this type of engine?

Re: “Aerodynamic valve” for valveless pulsejet.

Thank you for explanation! I really do not need thrust I’m locking for pressure in order to convert it in to torque. One unidirectional gas flow (like in valved pulsejet) will be perfect. Is there a way to use valveless pulsejet for? Maybe I should start other topic?

Re: “Aerodynamic valve” for valveless pulsejet.

Have somebody tried to use it? If I’m right, Tesla invented this valve for other proposes first and time after created design especially for valveless jet, but never get chance to use or try it. His valve is not perfect (because they was no today’s technologies then) but even so it has (do not know ...

Re: “Aerodynamic valve” for valveless pulsejet.

Yes, I understand that, but every modification of existing engine can break this balance. The incorporation of aerodynamic “one way” valve (is not about a bunch of holes like you can see on this “aerodynamic valves jet patent” on internet) will open tuning opportunities for performance. What about a...

“Aerodynamic valve” for valveless pulsejet.

Have somebody tried to incorporate one “aerodynamic valve” (it is not a real valve, before you send me to thus valved jet guys) in the intake on valveless jet with the purpose of partially force direction of airflow and raise exhaust pressure? In case of success it will open new possibilities of tun...
