Re: Another pocket-lockwood
Did you need hearing protection for such a small thing? Does it give any thrust?

Re: no-weld pulse jet
Well where does the valve go? Could it be no-weld?? That flat bottom is too big for a valve. Also, how to make a venturi?

How can you make a no-weld valve?
I was just wondering when I saw the "no-weld" jets at aardvark. How can you make a reed valve without welding or lathing??? Also, please tell me if you can buy aluminum ball valves. I believe ball valves are simpler.

Re: New Members
Hi there! I'm from Beijing, China. My interest in loud stuff and flying stuff began in the Spring Festival (Chinese New Year). I broke up fireworks and made bombs and rockets. A month ago I was trying to make alcohol bombs, when I stumbled on this pulsejet site. I finally had something to fiddle wit...

I was just wondering if you could burn KNO3 or something. How about no oxidersers! Also a stupid question: how can sugar burn?

I believe that the "Steel Floats On AIr" from Cyclodyne does the job. Just build a larger version.

Simple No-weld Pulsejets!! Or are they?
Hi there, I designed 2 pulsejets, I'm asking whether they would work. If they work, please tell me which one, if any, works good. I'm on Project Titania, which would eventually power a manned cart. I'm aiming for the speed of a bicycle. A: The Mug Jet Simplicity: Moderate Weld?: No Time to make: a w...

I know nothing!
Hi! I know nothing about pulsejets but i have a handful of blueprints. Here are some questions: :?: How much does a 80-cm-long valved pulsejet cost? :?: How about a valveless one? :?: Do I really need to weld? Or does superglue work too? :?: What is the CHEAPEST fuel that I could find? :?: If I use ...
