Hi Guys, I haven't been active on the forum for ages, but I have been working on a project like this over the past little while. I'm just wondering if this project ever got off the ground or if you know of any similar projects that have been successfully built and run? I have most of the electronics...

Yes I thought there were updated drawings. Do they use flame tubes as opposed to the spiral for the fuel? Also, are the updated drawings in his later book, or on the internet somewhere...?

hey, I had the slide held by a threaded rod, so I could adjust the slide height by turning a nut on top. I'll try to get my hands on a video camera this weekend if I get a chance to run it again. It wasn't that hard to start, the trick was getting the slide in the right position to start it.

Ha ha when I posted that I thought it had run... No it was just being a scare gun It does run now, and I ended up using a motorcycle carbie. Is that un-common? It seems to work brilliantly.
