Re: Big Linear FWE for a Paying Client

Hey Larry , glad to hear your engine worked out ,
I need to clarify one thing , I guess it was misleading in my pm , I do indeed have several different sizes of these injectors ,but i was not suggesting that i want to make or sell them , getting into the pulsejet market is not one of my goals

Re: Calculating top speed on ice...

Hey Anders , CONGRATULATIONS from down here too , Now I have the interesting task of subtly introducing her to jet engine building and motorcycles without overdoing it so she gets tired of it and starts to fancy horses or buys instead... Good luck with the jet engines and bikes bit , the "...

Re: More free plans: 40 pound Thermojet

Ithink some explaining is necesary , Some time ago I made a very hasty video for Anders , showing how to make the 3 lobe crimped end style of injector , when I made this epic production I had just returned home from work, and i am ashamed to say MY HANDS WERE FILTHY , especially the nails, I ...

Re: More free plans: 40 pound Thermojet

Hey Barry Too bad you cant get it to run on both intakes, IMHO its a lack of fuel pressure , What size gas cylinder are you using ? for this size engine i would consider a 15kg cylinder the minimum on a warm day , on cool days (<15 deg c) i use a 45 kg cylinder , You mIght consider using two seperat...

Re: More free plans: 40 pound Thermojet

Hey Barry , :D CONGRATULATIONS :D , and well done , really good to hear you got her running , I am certain she will run just fine on both intakes , its just a case of finding the right combination of injectors/ injector position , as Metiz says , Please do get some video when you can , I do realise ...

Re: More free plans: 40 pound Thermojet

Hey Barry , looks very nice , ONE BIG PROBLEM , You MUST flare the intakes , and yes unflared intakes is enough to stop the engine from running ,
there may well be other reasons too but fix this first ,

Let us know how it goes ,

Re: Rotary Valve Pulse-Jets

Hi SR71, I meant to reply to your first post , been busy , Welcome in any case , :D I like your idea , and have had some dealings with butterfly valves , in kiln blower control , a couple o things come to mind , Butterfly valves are very Non linear , the "closed" part of a full rotation is only a fe...
