Anders, If I could find a way to pack this launcher with me at the course...I would! if I get a chance tomorrow I'll tape it launching a ball through an old dodge tailgate. I'm an avid hunter and load my own 300 Weatherby magnum loads. We usually go for elk, so I use a 220 grain slug (3100fps) for c...

OK, pezman...so it's around 50 atmospheres then. Now, can someone answer this for me? ( I am assuming that 1 cycle= the volume of the combustion chamber.) upon detonation, there is the main shockwave traveling down the barrel but also one traveling through the compression tube to the other bank. The...

Detonation or Deflagration?

Well Gentlemen, I've finished up my current contract and have a few days to work on my PDE. I filmed a few minutes of it running and would like some input as to whether or not a detonation is actually occurring. I must say that when using my golf ball cannon which has a larger combustion chamber tha...

Bruno, Thank you for the countless hours you have surrendered to the BCVP chase and all the literature you have put forth. I am in no way disappointed! I asked for your permission to build your initial design...and you gave it. Thank you Sir. I am going to take James' advise though and keep tinkerin...

Hello James, the engine fires up without air and with both 20 lb propane tanks turned on, I just needed to "feather" the ball valves a bit to get both chambers firing. I should note that with both chambers firing...I noticed a significant increase in thrust and a dramatic decrease in propane consump...

I had one going at one stage like this and i did a lot of tail testing trying to force it into out of phase operation. Hell, even in phase, it would have been ok. As soon as it started to thump together, one half would cut out. It was drawing air, and plenty of fuel, it just refused to go bang at t...

Nice job Vermin 8) Same principle but like I said earlier...I'm just passing time and trying to learn a little while waiting for bruno. I realize most of you folks are light years ahead of me on design (both theory and practical) but the only way I can hope to catch up a bit is by tinkering...I don'...

Hey fellow testers, I apologize for the poor video quality...but I'm still just using my cell phone. here is my tuned 8) test engine running with only 1 propane bottle feeding 1 bank. Even though I have a tee'ed fuel line set up, all the fuel is being syphoned to 1 bank or the other. Not both equall...

Hey guys, I don't know what file format you guys are using for your videos! but I can't view them. I can't find a good camera in town that will suit my needs. I was wondering if a web cam would give a good enough image so you guys could see the "FREAKING EXPLOSIONS" coming off of this pulse cannon. ...

Thanks CG. The valve on the 6"x4" Concentric reducer will be for afterburner fuel supply  when I finish tuning the exaust length and distance from the Thrust augmentor and exaust end (the augmentor is free standing right now as I want to find the best placement while idling) The Tee is being us...
