If this is a repost, or considered Spam, I'll gladly take the heat for it. This is no hoax... Xerox will send a postcard on your behalf. I decided to do this before I forward the message so that I wouldn't forget or get lazy about it. It only took a few minutes, and it seems important enought to be ...

Ginger Altoids and Meclizine are the two best remedies (actually, best used as preventatives) for seasickness. Other forms of Ginger are fine (even Ginger Ale if it is the real thing). Meclizine is sold as Binine and as Non-Drowsy Dramaine. I have been sailing for 35 years, including racing offshore...

I'll eventually try it with a larger fuel line. I got some braided stainless hose with 1/4 compression fittings for an ice maker (10 ft for $8 at Ace or True Value) and a 6 foot length of SS brake line (as you suggest). I have a sailboat that needs me first, but during the week I might squeeze in so...

Here are a few pics of the thrust test setup. Scale reads 1.8 which corrects to 1.9 pounds with correction for error (used a known weight to calibrate) http://www.pbase.com/mark_42/image/80246203/medium.jpg The test setup from just outside the garage door http://www.pbase.com/mark_42/image/80246204/...

Yes, I did. I'll have to look again at the videos to see if the wire was removed in any of them. I have a few pictures, but will need to crop them and upload them. I'm pretty sure there are some of it running w/o the plig wires. I tried to start it with a propane torch first, but couldn't get it to ...

Roller skates would work. I met my wife on roller skates (I used to skate about 5 nights a week) Anyway... Last night after work I did some thrust measurements - 1.9 Pounds... I will have to add fenders like on a tractor to protect the front wheels from the heat (They melted on the inboard edges) He...

I considered hairspray as propellant for when I need lightweight instead of burn duration, but how to attach might be an issue. Is the can has a stem which fits into the nozzle rather than the nozzle having a stem that goes into the valve on the can I might be able to rig a tube and an actuator mech...

I don't plan to be close to it when it fails, so I sorta like the dramatic kaboom.
Of course it could end up like the retriver dog who brought back the
lit stick of dynamite.

Your psychologist must really wonder about you... ;) I realize now that you all might think this applies to you. I know this because I returned to this thread, read it, forgot for a few seconds that I was the one who wrote it, and thought it was directed at me. Yes, the propane propellant makes sen...
