Re: Proposed: Linear FWE Rebuild
Hi Larry
I guess as I didn't know the dims so I was guessing at the scale. I have a couple of other projects on the go (a Stirling engine for one, advice = don't buy a cheap Chinese lathe) but will start with this ASAP.
Cheers (Thanks)

Hi Larry
I like the configuration
If you post or send me the dimms for a 1/3 scale + -, I will build it (in steel) and test for you.
Cheers

Re: Hi all! (Newbie)
If you want to start EZ then build a thermojet, available from Eric Becks website or elsewhere here. I would suggest starting with gaseous fuels first i.e. propane/butane.
It is much easier to assimilate understanding of starting and function.....if you require more info just ask.

Re: valveless pulsejet for beginner
You could try this one simple and EZ to build, if you dont want to use a spark plug a sparkler can be used for ignition.
Cheers
and have fun

Re: Hey all
Thrust is unknown at this time, they have not been fabricated yet...if you would like...feel free to build one and try it.....I am waiting for Larry to run them through nudis (I think that's the name) and advise tweeking or final adjustments to the draft designs.....I just like the looks of the FWE.

Variant #1
single intake to start second optional and probably 1.5" instead of 2".
A bit shorter..just because.

Re: Hey all
Gee larry your offer is excelent but I have a new TIG welder and some SS sheet to use up....I will rework the draft print ASAP....looking at it I think that the induction should be @ 45deg or close thereto......the fluid dynamics would be better (opinion only no factual evidence for those who would ...

Hello All
3 - 1" induction ports
1 - 1 1/4' to 1 1/2" exhaust.
1 roscojector = 1 functional jet......
built on FWE specs....some potential I think....
just playing with things for now....
