Probably best to upload it to youtube, then post a link to the video on this forum.
Where did you source the 90 degree bends? i've found some stainless ones from a marine fabrication company, but they are seriously expensive...

Re: Newb with a question!
Hello, You can make a basic circuit using a flasher unit for car indicators (turn signals). You'll also need a condenser which you should be able to source from your local car parts dealership. I made the exact circuit you're after; here's the one I put together: http://www.frenchgeek.com/imageslg/p...

Re: Lockwood running as a Ramjet??
where the fuel is injected is also crucial. It took me a fair amount of tweaking before my jet would run - moving the gas output further into the engine gradually until the engine would sustain. Remember, the spark plug is just there to get it running - once it's running, you turn the plug off. Chec...

Large (75Kg) pulsejet - valve grid suggestions?
Hi all, I'm in the process of designing a really rather large valved jet using eric Beck's calculator, something in the order of 75Kg of thrust. I'm obviously going for the valve grid design, but I'm looking for a few little bits of information that will really help when putting the final design tog...

Re: my valveless jet kart
yeah it was pretty easy to form, but it's still a pain to do by hand compared to using slip rollers. This engine was a proof of concept prototype and I think it's really worked a treat. As for welding stainless - I'm using MIG - 0.8mm wire with 'Cougar' argo-CO2 gas I believe. I picked up a sealey 1...

Re: my valveless jet kart
ah, the engine was damaged again - the U pipe creased and some holes formed. The reinforced straight section after the U pipe also folded in. This engine literally was the first thing I put together after learning to weld. It's been a great project, but since it took over four hours to repair the se...

my valveless jet kart
Hi all, I've finally finished the kart and gave it a try with my valveless engine. It worked for a bit, but unfortunately the engine isn't up to scratch - it was the first thing I ever built after learning to weld, so I made it from mild steel which isn't able to take the heat. I'm aware that it's a...

Got it up to full power!
Hi all, managed to get the engine running up to full power, but it imploded a little bit! I'll reinforce it all, but was thinking water injection might get it to run cooler and offer a power increase... what do you think? Maybe it's time to bite the bullet and go for the much more expensive stainles...

hello, I spent a lot of time looking into Lathes as I was going to buy one to make a valved engine. Basically, you need to spend quite a lot of money before you can buy a half decent lathe. Cheaper lathes may still be accurate, but lack some features and are quite limited in terms of the diameter of...

Compression fittings max pressure?
Hi all! after not being able to get my rather large engine up to max power on gas, I'm hoping to run it off liquid propane by inverting the tank. I have also added some valves as a very crude method of throttling the engine. I have two valves that allow for a precise idle setting and a full power se...
