It wasn't a matter of a joke, I really got read more books on chemistry. I just got my hands tied up at work again last night. My god they're pushing me. I appreciate the responses about this. I was reading a thread about freon and it just popped to think that it may have been mixed with the aluminu...

Thanks

I was running around the sites in the sticky. Also knew about cooking it outside. My stepfather said I can use the small burn barrel with a grill on it. Thanks for the replies. All advice is appreciated. I have a question on the actual "caramel" form of RCandy. I know that about the recrystallizatio...

I will not even scratch my head to think of hydrogen peroxide. I know some of that stuff, read it, but not done it. Rather see a reliable fuel such as the candy. I need to buy a hot plate,...which one? I've been running through the links of the sticky and have found some good stuff. I think this wee...

Celsius. The reason I want to run with rockets is because I used to do all the estes rocket engines. It gets very boring, but if you build it yourself and take pride in your work, you get the benefits of the labor. In America, sugar propellents are not considered explosives. The downside to pulsejet...

never mind, but another question

I'm going with the Rcandy method for fuel, but I read up on some other threads that PVC won't bond with the inside motor casting and paper would be used to roll the RCandy into the motor, but what type of metal would be great for the motor housing? I would probably have paper rolled onto the inside ...

whats the best idea for rocket

I haven't posted in such a long time, busy with work and working out things. now I have a large expanse of time. I think it's best to ask the big question. What would be the best thing fuel to use? Ammonium percholate and aluminum powder I would probably use later, as I can get the aluminum powder e...

escoppette motor

i have the various pieces of my pulse-jet sitting at work getting welded. I have the front cap or "pyramaid" shaped being fabricated by a friend, as i am trying to get the ignition systemdone. Have one question regarding the length and Id of the intake on an escopette engine. Should the length of th...

measuring fuel to thrust ratio

I was wondering what is the best way to measure fuel to thrust ratio on a valveless pulse-jet. If anybody has a great method, then please post. Lots of info needed and the simplest one i will take, as my pulse jet chamber assembly is being cooled from being welded. I need to think ahead of the plan ...

re: Valveless Pulsejet Database

Eric: Nobody is going to build a pulsejet with 12 inch thick walls. Eric, u might want to think at least 3/8 to 1/2. I have the chamber of my pulsejet that i welded up at least 1/2 thick. I will give you specs on the design soon also large amounts of data on fuel to thrust ratio. Just gotta figure o...
