Re: More free plans: 40 pound Chinese
You were running 3mm id fuel lines? That could be your problem: Too much restriction and/ or speed. I recommend a 4mm id fuel line, I don't think the 8 is going to work. You should snip the end of the fuel lines off and then slightly open the resulting slit to get a Rosscojector. A straight pipe is ...

Re: More free plans: 40 pound Chinese
Well you're definitely getting enough air now. The propane tank does need to be fairly full, 40+%. Try heating up your tank to get a bit more pressure, like putting it in front of a radiator or submerging it in hot water. (I've heated up tanks with the open flame of another propane tank, although th...

You probably need more air. See if you can borrow a leaf blower or an air compressor

Re: Trouble getting gravity feed pulsejet to start
I'm not an expert when it comes to valved engines but I would try throwing a lit sparkler into the combustion chamber and then trying to start like that.

Re: Starting a Valved Pulse Jet
Do you have a video of your setup and starting attempt? That could be very useful in identifying your problem. Have you considered it might be the engine that's problematic and not your fueling arrangement? some pictures of your engine could be useful. Any leaky welds, bent valves, dents? etc.

Looks like it might be a Dynajet red head. Do you have any more measurements?

Re: Please put your "I am new and need help" question here.
Could you sustain the engine without air with the can upside down? Because if so, I guess you're done. The fuel line freezing is probably due to the butane. Testing the ideal position with a rosscojector means you make a long injector with a U bend so you can hold it. Light it, stick it down the int...
