Cool. What patent number would that be? /BoMike Everman wrote:Piece of cookie! I made a 625:1 reducer in a single stage. One of my early patents. Hmmm, I still have that one laying around, thanks, Larry.

Hi, People, More comments on this thread: During WW II, the Brits powered many of their small cars with gas-producing charcoal burners. Efficiency was not a significant factor because the times were so very desperate. Jerry A lot of European countries did. In fact, summer of -03 I saw this car outs...

Normaly I work with injectionmoulds for the plasticindustry, it means things not bigger than 150-200kg, as a hobbymachine I use a Abene VHF TNC3. Sorry all of you not close to northern part of Europe but if anyone constructs something that needs a CNC- machine to manufacture my price for things rel...

Re: Got me a new mill!
I bought myself an early christmas present last week, a lathe and a mill complete with "everything" I will need like a rotary table and such. The mill arrived yesterday so I´ve spent two days cleaning out the garage, setting up the stand and mounting the mill on it. It weighs 280 kg so it was one ...

If you are around Borlänge sometime, feel free to drop by and give it a try. You might want to bring some scrap metal though, as I'm more or less out of stock now. I was in Borlänge a month ago, on my way to Malung to pick up a car. But whenever I´m in the neighbourhood again I´ll come and visi...

Re: re: Valveless pulsejet to Stiga sledge
Plus the sleds are not really meant for full grown people to ride on. When I was little the thing was much more stable, too much weight can screw things up since you end up putting most of the weight right near the back of the sled, especially if you are tall. Eric I´ve had this idea at the back o...

Hahaha :D Where in Sweden are you located? I´ve just sold my apartment in Stockholm to move to Örebro. Preferably a house so I can tinker with my projects at home. /BoAnders Troberg wrote: There's just one small problem for you: It's mine, all mine! :)

Re: re: New welding/cutting technology, anyone tried it?
Sounds great. What kind of eye protection is required? The reason Im asking is my eyes are bad and I cant see enough to weld properly. Except with gas and barely even that. Ordinary gas welding goggles (99 kr at Jula) work nicely, as the arc is completely encapsulated within the nozzle. It's just l...

Re: re: New welding/cutting technology, anyone tried it?
For various completely unrelated reasons, I have not had time to test it as much as I want to, but so far it's looking real good. Mind you, I'm in no way an expert welder, so my opinion may not be worth that much. As soon as opportunity presents itself, I'll invite a very good welder I know over to...

Great picture and explanation! So the first step would be to make a self-sustaining folded pulsejet of roughly the right size, then chop it down while testing its running capabilities in a test bench, fit it to the turbo, get rich and spend the rest of my playboy life traveling around giving lectur...
