Hi Your axial comp will only be able to produce around a 1.2 :1 pressure ratio per stage , so several stages will be required for even a small engine . theres a german guy doing this ... he calls it a "monocopter" but its a huge turbine plus some tubes... hes using a carbon fiber compresor (the wings are CF not the compresor itself) if i remeber the link will post...
