Sorry to hear you have become one of the many who sent money and received nothing. I have my Paypal receipt but was put off by Mr. Simpsom for a variety of reasons. This alowed enought time to go by so that I could not lodge a complaint with Paypal. I begged, I pleaded, I threatened, nothing worked....

Hello to both Thedon and Larry As usual Larry is right on target. Forget Bruce and use some local talent. There is so much more info here and no doubt your project will spark some interest. Better for them to exchange ideas with someone who is active in this forum and eager to share. I don't care ab...

Re: re: Argentinian Short Lady Has Nice Build

Oh, you mean Carl Litzkow ;-) Oops! Watching too much TV (John Lithgow). Carl and I have exchanged e-mails; I hope he's not offended by my faux pas. Bill - You must mean faut pas , since you only made one mistake - faux pas would be plural, if I remember rightly. L Cottrill Hi Bill and Larry, Thanx...

Larry,

Bask in your well deserved glory young fellow. I think it was your "gangsta shots" in jet-ZILLA "Wanna Make Some Noise ?" that got me hooked. Count me in as one of your fans. " You 'da man ! "

re: A Rainy Day Makes for Inset Intake Success

One more thing, but I will be brief. The current hemispherical design came from drag racing flat head Fords to small block Chevy's to Dodge hemi's. Dodge hemi's have dominated ever since. The spark plug was moved out of the hemi "reflective" area to provde a more unobstructed surface for the "blast ...

re: A Rainy Day Makes for Inset Intake Success

Greetings to all, and especially Larry, I hope to be able to contribute some data soon simular to the discusion going on here. In Larry's thread "New friend, NewLady" you can see the cylinder head, intake, and overall length are adjustable, but of course the basic config is slightly different. Three...

I'm thinking of building a bigger one with a megaphone tailipipe. Larry, Eric, anyone, ever tried this, or have any tips for me? Hello Again El K I am building a version with a megaphone tail pipe under the direction of my mentor, Larry Cottrill. I started out with a motorcycle megaphone as a C C t...

re: Another FWE!

Hello El-K, Kon-grads on your sucess with Rudolf ! I would be most interested in seeing a quick jpeg of the general shape or better yet some aprox. dimensions. The reason being I am building a "test bed " FWE ver V for Larry C. and am trying to incorporate various configs. I have made the intake rem...

Re: re: A New Friend and a New Lady

Carl - Make sure what you present is really applicable in some way to propulsion theory, and doesn't come across as encouraging amateur explosives experimentation. That goes down pretty badly here (even in the Off Topics Forum). I'm sure you'll use good sense; this is just a "word to the wise". L C...

Thank You Bill,
The only thing wrong with the trailer hitch idea is I wish I had thought of it first.
And thank you Dave, what a great idea, I knew I saved those old hitch balls for some reason.

re: FWE Theoretical Intake Flare Examples

Larry, Will do - yes, not acomadating for +/- placement does simply. I didn't mention that like Bill H. I can adjust tube length and do a "quick change" of flare config using a 1 1/2" EMT coupler. It has 4 set screws and when the pipes are pushed in all the way makes a pretty good "aerodynamic" conn...

Hello Bill H. This is the first time I've had a chance to hyber-talk with you since I joined. I tried to read as much as my decaying gray matter could absorb before I posted. Just want to be helpfull. I know you are serious about your PJ's and I have had 2 ideas for making flares. The first was to c...
