Hello Joe,the noise level was still fairly high, but like you said doesn't have the edge as when it's running full tilt.I still wouldn't try running it without ear protection at idle but. M,I just brought some more 1 mm sheet, oiled up my slip roll and bought a new roll of mig wire, ready when you are ...

Re: Back with the BIG LADY

Hello I think you maybe right about the electronic scales,Itested them this morning and the load has to stabilize for about 10 second before you get a reading, not much hope in getting a pulse jet to stabilize,so that idea is out.I would really like to get some sort of remote way of getting a thrust ...

Re: Back with the BIG LADY

Hello

Just got my fish scales, all they had was a 12kg max set so I'm rigging up some pulleys to reduce the pull ratio

M should definitly have some thrust figures today,I was going to do a minium thrust and a Max thrust,do 3 runs of each and get an average, does that sound ok.

Thanks

Re: Back with the BIG LADY

Hello

I went on the hunt for some scales yesterday with no luck, might have to drive to the next town to find some.If I can't find a 30kg set I will just make a lever system to to double or triple the force on my sled.

Thanks
