i have just brought a leaf blower/vac to start my jets. but im confused when switched on to blow, there one small hole that blow and then the big hole sucks. so how do i use that to start a turbine????

when i tryed to start my pulse jet all i got were a few loud hot pops from it. i think its somthing to do with the mix of fuel and air. any advice would be alot of help im sure.
