Re: concentric lockwood
Hmm, how about this? http://img442.imageshack.us/img442/9219/pj66.gif I like it. Thermal distortion won't be a problem on the intake, since the intake does not get that hot. The pointy part where the intake comes into the CC area may need to be looked at. If you build this you may want to put a fla...

Re: concentric lockwood
As much as I love the concept of concentric / annular / coaxial designs they have real major problems Heat being primary. Over heating. Warping. you name it. I am still trying to make one work well, no luck. I am convinced that some day some one will make a good one. Just my .02 http://www.youtube....

Re: Big Linear FWE for a Paying Client
Hi Larry, Long time no chat. A very nice build! Did you get a chance to try the new injectors? I need to make something much better than what I currently have on my large PJ before I fire it up again. Sorry to hear about your job. I hope you can get that order. It sure is nice to make money at somet...

Hi Berry, A real work of art! On one of your photos there seemed to be enough propane at least for a start. I noticed that alot of fire was coming from one or two of your intakes. Before making any more modifications I would try and set up your air at all three intakes. I think that this will help y...

It's part of the intake and fuel line, so it won't get too hot.
Just braze it.

Hi Jutte, It was only putting out a few pounds of thrust. I haven't tinkered with it very much and I'm sure there are alot of areas that I could impove upon. The interesting thing for me is when I first had a good run I was using very little fuel, but it was very hard to start with my old set up. I ...

I haven't tried this yet;
weld a small steel tube on the side of the exhaust at an angle towards the exit. Try using shop air, it should pull air into the intake.

Mikes engine
Hey Mike,
I'm glad you put the fuel holes at aprox 45 Degrees from the intake flow.
That seemed to be a limiting factor on my concentric PJ because I think the propane pressure was starting to interfere with the intake cycle when the fuel was pushed in at 90 degrees to intake air flow.
Good luck!

Hello everyone. I just got a response from Undaltd, Here it is. Dear Hagen, The smallest unit we are making now are 5.5kW, the price for them on the Irish market is 8500 euro plus the VAT(21%). We don't have any reps in USA, we are looking for somebody interested, the installation is very simple. Le...

Wow this is really going to piss Mark off... :D Mark might just have to buy one and let us know what the real energy effeciency is. I'm just kidding Mark... It looks like they are claiming 232%. 3 kw pump at 6,000,000 cal. I wonder how much one of those units are. The 1A model. It would probably tak...
