re: deLaval Nozzles for Small Ramjets?

Larry has anyone used a deLaval nozzle in place of the 'pipe' in a 'snorkel' type Jam Jar..?? The 2.7 bar may be briefly available on expulsion and the deLaval may not interfere too much on inhalation.. I assume that the performance would be quite different to that of a conventional 'snorkel'... Che...

re: Alternate Fuels

Please do NOT make ammonia as a fuel..... Containment is difficult and the gas is so very soluble in water that it will dissolve in the tears on your eyeballs and the moisture lining the airways in your lungs... the ammonia solution will then destroy and remove those tissues.... IF you survive this ...

Opinion, opinion, opinion, its your right, your property, your's... Be happy if it gives you a feeling of confidence, enjoy...

However if questioned about your opinion and you feel "angry" then you are probably wrong... (simple isn't it...)

Cheers db....

Re: Tiny turbine

Hi Steve, Your quote ".......It just boggles the mind!......" well it dosn't boggle my mind... its just plain wrong. You can't have refrigeration involving heated gases without a heat exchanger between the compression stage, (or in this case a 'combustion') stage and the expansion stage (or in this ...

Re: Proposed Combined Fuel Tube / Starting Air Tube for FWE

Hi Eric, Google up 'helicoidal flow' and the associated 'precession'... you may view gas movement in a different light... You may even see why Bruno could not get a satisfactory 'choked funnel effect' when the BVCP developement team, bent the central tube connecting the two combustion chambers, in t...

Hi Micheal, Prior art exists.... the list starts with 'Marconnet' 1909; 'Schubert' 1944; 'Myers' 1946... I know that forum members could provide many more instances.. I am sure you are relying on protection using the detail, but it hard for you to survive a challenge when the 'principle' pre-exists....

No progressive critics to my assumed boundary layer thickness distribution? Weird...[/quote] Whats with this Boundary Layer being an insulator ?? If I am correct in my understanding there can be no boundary layer without movement of gases along the exhaust tube (in an axial direction).. Eric says 2/...

Re: A necessary criterion for pulsating combustion

Hi Forrest, I am confused by your formular and somewhat out of my depth.. However can you explain how this formular differs from one that would describe "steady state' combustion within a pipe of known dimensions. I am always cautious of the use of an, approximation sign instead of = sign. Thanks to...
