Re: Fish Tail

My understanding of the fishmouth is to "trick" the engine into believing it's at a certain wavelength and give some tolerance to the construction of the engine/other variables. Somewhat of a patch you might say.

re: My G8-2-20

Here is part of today's video from my camera. I would like to apolagize for my firend's poor videography... This is a video of a run at a large orifice dimension, tomarrow I will insert a smaller gauge as I am still flooding the engine. The engine burps in and out of a high lock like you may have se...

re: My G8-2-20

I have finished my GLC designed pressurejet on the 2nd of this month. This thing is amazing compared to my last engine. The local news was at my school today to see my engine run. I'll get some more pictures but here are 2 that I posted at the GLC forum aswell.

re: Spinning or drawing

Luc & Viv have some experience in spinning. I have two of their nosecones that were spun out of 321 stainless.

I think all explosive forming uses low explosives like blck powder. If they used high explosives, their material and mold would be shattered.

A Revolution in Pressure Jet Technology

Well they don't call it a pressure jet, but perhaps more appropriatly a PulseRam-and that is exactly what it is. I don't know if you have seen GLC's announcement or not but here it is. http://pulse-jets.glc-inc.ca/phpbb/viewforum.php?f=32 I was talking to Luc and I was absolutly astounded when he to...

re: jet powerd car

I suppose you're right, especially if you live in the US. Ben wrote: "The hydrogen in H2O2 doesn't "supplement the fuel". Hydrogen peroxide breaks down into water and oxygen" H2O2 decomposes into H2 and O2 correct? Only after it has combusted does it become H2O and oxygen. H2O2 ==> H2 + O2 ===> 2(H2...

re: jet powerd car

Be careful however, buying high concentrations of H2O2 can earn you a place on "the list". High concentration H2O2 +15% are the main precursor in explosive peroxides like tri-acetone tri-peroxide, methyl-ethyl ketone peroxides, hexamethelenediammine peroxide, and so on. But if you are interested the...

Suppliers of 321 Stainless

I have been looking for suppliers of 321 sheet and tube in my searches I have found several cheap companies. First and foremmost Conception GLC, inc. sells 321 sheet and I'm sure tube of certain diameters and I know their prices are reasonable so look into them. www.glc-inc.ca I found this Stainless...

re: My G8-2-20

I have paid for most of the parts for my new engine to be built. I have to make an order from www.stainlessheader.com yet for some sheet and some tube. I will be receiving a cone, coil/fuel line, and a nozzle system. These parts I have purchased feature some of Luc & Viv's innovations that are the k...

Well the weather is beautiful here in Pennsylvania now. We had a long, cold winter but is warm out now. I can't wait to get out and fly my r/c plane!
