Yes, Mark, but only if you insist on being believed. At the moment, it is not terribly important to us if we are believed or not.
We are sharing our belief in the concept and the tidbits on its practical development without the burden of having to be particularly credible. We don't have to justify our results to any review board and we are not seeking an investor in the project (though everyone is absolutely welcome to pitch in with money, of course).
Our sole reason to publish certain claims and an occasional picture is sharing our enthusiasm (and occasional frustration) with fellow enthusiasts -- to the extent that we feel is prudent. If it results in a measure of disbelief, so be it. It is not very important to the project.
Any public credibility we may need in the future will come from demonstrating the finished product if and when it fulfills our expectations.
