Nope. Deep down inside it is still a BCVP.
By the way, the problem with Melenric was just untidy illustrations. I opened one in MS Paint and started erasing the myriad squiggles and callouts that cluttered the picture until just the bare engine remained. It all snapped into focus then. It is not a complex engine at all; just a very sophisticated Thermojet.
